RICS Level 2 (Home Buyer) Survey with ValuationStart your Quote
What is this used for?
As the RICS Home Survey – Level 2, the focus is on assessing the general condition of the main elements of a property. This intermediate level of service includes a more extensive visual inspection of the building, its services and grounds, but still without tests. It also provides the surveyor’s professional opinion on the ‘market value’ of the property, an insurance reinstatement figure for the property, plus details a list of problems that the surveyor considers may affect the value of the property.
Choose this report if you need more extensive information whilst buying or selling a conventional house, flat or bungalow, built from common building materials and in reasonable condition, plus also the surveyor’s professional opinion on the ‘market value’ of the property and an insurance reinstatement figure.
How it works
We use an easy-to-read traffic light system (Condition Ratings, 1, 2 and 3) that highlights the condition of the various elements of the property as described within the report.

Why you may need a Property Survey
An RICS Home Survey will tell you the actual condition of the property. This critical information can be invaluable during price negotiations.
A Home Survey can also help you prepare for selling your property. It will show you any problems that may delay your sale or cause price reductions later in the process.
A Home Survey of the current condition of your home will warn you of defects and help you avoid escalating repair and maintenance costs in the future.
Whether it is structural or damp issues, getting a Home Survey will reveal defects not typically visible when viewing a property you intend to purchase.
